M8 tee nut manufactured with a bright zinc plating and 4 distinct prongs that offer a secure grip when installed. 

Used for a secure threaded anchor point in wood, plastics, and composite boards making them ideally suited for furniture assembly.

How to install Tee Nuts

• Clearly mark the location of where the nut is to sit.
• Drill the correct size hole which should be the same size as the Tee Nuts barrel and ensure the hole goes the whole way through the material.
• Insert the barrel of the Tee Nut to the back side of the material (the hidden side) ensuring the prongs are facing the material surface.
• Gently tap with a hammer to ensure the 4 prongs are embedded into the material surface. This locks the Tee Nut in place and prevents it from spinning when a bolt or machine screw is used.
• On the visible side of the material thread in your bolt or machine screw into the Tee Nut which will see it pulled deeper into the materials surface and offer a secure fixing.
