JCP drop-in anchor setting punch specifically designed for use with the M16 drop-in anchors. Without a hand guard, the setting punch is manufactured to effectively set in place a drop-in anchor which will allow for a permanent threaded socket within non-cracked concrete.

This setting punch is used by simply dropping the drop-in anchor into the correctly sized hole, place the setting punch against the plug within the anchor, and hit firmly with a hammer. 

This action by the setting punch causes the plug within the drop-in anchor to expand the ends of the anchor against the walls of the drilled hole, which firmly holds the anchor in place.
