M8 Lipped Drop-in Anchor

Lipped drop-in anchor designed to offer a permanent threaded socket within non-cracked concrete and other masonry.

A permanent threaded socket which allows for the removal and replacement of the fixing if needed and comes with a zinc & yellow passivation for medium resistance to corrosion.

Lipped drop-in anchors can be accurately set independent of the hole depth and the secure hold is obtained by the expansion of the end of the drop-in anchor within the substrate.

Once installed, the correctly sized screw or bolt can be screwed into the anchor, effectively securing the material to the substrate.

Setting and expansion of the drop-in anchor can be guaranteed by using the correct M8 setting punch.

Simply drop the anchor into the correctly sized hole, place the setting punch against the plug inside the anchor within the hole, and hit with a hammer to set the anchor.

This action forces the plug to expand the drop-in anchor against the walls of the substrate securing it in place.
